BIG BOYS is a hilarious and heartwarming coming-of-age film that follows fourteen-year-old Jamie’s journey of self-discovery and first love. Realising his queer identity, he encounters his cousin’s boyfriend - a charming and beefy “bear” named Dan - on a family camping trip. Despite a significant age gap and Dan being straight, Jamie develops feelings for him, leading to a funny and touching tale about having a first crush. This film celebrates the thrills and challenges of coming out - both to oneself and to the world - and discovering the beauty in unconventional love.
