In The Sunlight in Winter, Chieh-ju, while preparing for her wedding, unexpectedly finds out the secrets of her partner. Her ideas of love, honesty, loyalty and goodness face an unprecedented challenge. In Black Sheep, 13-year-old Ling experiences a sexual awakening when she meets Kitty, a rebellious 17-year-old. Full of angst, this coming-of-age story traverses the painful rites of passage of adolescent loneliness and sexual longing. In HAJIKERU, Natsumi and Keiko strike up a friendship, finding relief in each other from the repressive community. This short is produced by KOREEDA Hirokazu.
