Director Oh Seung-uk reunites with Jeon Do-yeon, the star of his 2015 thriller The Shameless[12th], for another gritty hard-boiled noir thriller. This time, Jeon goes from femme fatale to a seething anti-heroine who faces off against superstar Ji Chang-wook to get what she’s owed. After serving time as the scapegoat for a corruption scandal, former police inspector Soo-young expects a hefty compensation the second she’s out of jail. But when a stranger picks her up from jail without any cash in hand, Soo-young senses a possible betrayal, and sets out to hunt down the man who broke his promise by any means necessary.
