Synopsis
In 1978, after the notorious Khmer Rouge seized power in Cambodia, three French delegates - an academic, a journalist, and a photographer visited the country at the invitation of the regime. On the verge of a military conflict with Vietnam, the totalitarian party endeavoured to portray a communist utopian to its western visitors, but the illusive bubble was under the risk of bursting at any time.
