Lisca Bianca tells the story of a sailboat that has transformed lives for 40 years. Built in the 1970s by the Palermo couple Sergio and Licia Albeggiani, who fulfilled their dream of sailing the world, the boat’s legacy is now carried on by two new skippers. Since then, Lisca Bianca has become an opportunity for redemption for young people engaged in restorative justice. A journey between past and present, the boat inspires dreams of freedom and change. Screened alongside Metamorfosi – Story of a Song of Wood , which tells the story of upcycling wood of the boats abandoned by migrants into violins crafted by inmates in Milan's Opera prison.
