Synopsis
The 3rd First Feature Film Initiative, The Film Development FundThe discovery of a human head ties a student, a cellist, an autistic teenager, a police officer, a prostitute, a teacher and a dog together in this ensemble mystery, a project from the third edition of Hong Kong government’s First Film Initiative. The directorial debut of longtime assistant director and Fresh Wave Film Festival alumnus Lee Cheuk-pan is a multi-layered, Rashomon-esque thriller that examines the current state of Hong Kong society through a gruesome murder. It’s a twisted thrill ride that will keep audiences guessing to the very end.
