Synopsis

A heart-wrenching premise lays the foundation for dramedy Papi Chulo, as blue-eyed weatherman Sean (played by Matt Bomer of ‘Magic Mike’ fame) mourns his partner’s sudden abandonment. Sent home by his boss to regain control, he strikes up an unlikely friendship with a middle-aged Mexican laborer called Ernesto. In the wake of heartbreak, could this unexpected, hysterical and tear-jerking connection be the key to recovery?
