Botero(MOViE MOViE: Life is Art 2021)

Fernando Botero is one of the world’s most popular living artists, but before that he was a man who travelled to New York with only $200 in his pocket. Featuring unreleased sketches and private tours of his studio, the documentary chronicles the life of a self-taught painter from Medellin, whose feverish passion and conviction guided him to the pinnacle of the art world. Through decades of harsh criticism and adversity, his lust for art eventually liberated him from the chrysalis of poverty, enabling the world to witness his talents.
