CHUNG Mong-hong's Shorts Collection(16th Fresh Wave)

CHUNG Mong-hong is a renowned director in Taiwan recently. His first documentary Doctor (2006) won Best Documentary at the Taipei Film Festival and his first feature debut Parking (2008) was selected by the Cannes Film Festival in the Un Certain Regard section. He also won Best Director at the Golden Horse Awards for The Fourth Portrait (2010) and A Sun (2019). The latter and his latest work, The Falls (2022) also won Best Feature Film at the Golden Horse Awards. This programme will show his three early short films, including Escape (1994), Exorcism (1994) and Festival (1995), together with the recording of the post-screening talk with CHUNG Mong-hong about these three shorts.
