Synopsis
This explores the role and responsibility of architects in building the society of tomorrow. The film introduces a vision for the architecture of tomorrow, centered on an armistice between nature and the built environment, through the eyes of Antonio Citterio, one of the best-known Italian designers around the world, and Patricia Viel, co-founders of the Milan-based architecture and interior design practice ACPV. It offers a post-covid vision of looking at climate crisis and urban redistribution by alternating dialogues with people form the world of fashion, art, design, and exploring pieces of architecture designed by ACPV.The latent energy of architectural works is evoked through musical scenes set in different parts of the world (Milan, L’Aquila, Hamburg, Taichung, Miami), where different musicians hit spatially distant notes that meet in a single composition that breaks down distances and projects human into his or her natural habitat, that of the cities of tomorrow.
