Synopsis
Winner of Teddy Award at Berlin Film Festival, Winner of Out in the Silence Award at Frameline San Francisco International LGBTQ Film Festival 2023ALL THE COLOURS OF THE WORLD ARE BETWEEN BLACK AND WHITE follows Bambino, a delivery driver, and Bawa, an aspiring photographer, in modern-day Nigeria. Despite living in a country where homosexuality is illegal, the two men form a deep bond as they explore the vibrant streets of Lagos together. Their connection is met with societal strictures and the difficulty of expressing love in a society where such love is forbidden. This understated yet heart-wrenching film, winner of the Berlinale Teddy Award, portrays the struggles and bravery of LGBTQ individuals in Nigeria, highlighting the importance of visibility and acceptance.
