Synopsis

For some couples, the arrival of a new life is a dream come true. But for others, it can be a nightmare. Jay is an up-and-coming writer with a promising career, while her partner Geon-woo seems set for a promotion at his tutoring job. However, an unplanned pregnancy reveals how woefully unprepared they are for parenthood and lays bare the fissures in their relationship. Writer-director Yoo Ji-young’s third feature film is an unsentimental portrait of a deteriorating relationship and what happens when traditional expectations clash with modern realities.
