In the hills of Skopje, Dita’s stately old house is the unlikely home to a diverse group of queer individuals, including her moody friend Toni and his much younger boyfriend Ali. When Dita’s partner Suada is diagnosed with a terminal illness, the emotionally distant Dita is forced to promise she will raise Suada’s two daughters - the cheeky Mia and the increasingly rebellious Vanesa. Dita is reluctant to take on the role of mother, and the girls are equally resistant to accepting her. However, to save this unconventional family, Dita must act quickly, even considering marrying the only available man around. In this poignant story, Dita is compelled to confront her own fears and open her heart, as she navigates the complexities of family, identity, and the fragility of life.
