Synopsis

The movie is based on the story of the Pleynet twins. At 18 years old, the Vallois sisters realised their dream of being admitted to the Karlsruhe University of Music under the eminent Klaus Lenhardt. But a rare disease affects the hands of one of them and stops her in her tracks. While her sister shines, it’s not long before she suffers the same fate. Unable to imagine their lives without the piano, the twins work together to develop a technique that is unique in the world, making them more “prodigious” than ever….
