Synopsis

Shan is an immigrant from Dong Bei, China. He settled in Markham, Canada, known for their welcoming Chinese community. Shan meets with Kevin, a Dong Bei local and gangster. Dissatisfied with the popularity of a Japanese restaurant stealing business from Chinese locals, the two scheme to rob the restaurant. Owned by a Japanese man with a valuable Sword.The two small-time crooks venture to the store, holding the owner at gunpoint. However, due to their inexperience and cowardice, the owner was able to stop them by cutting off Kevin's hand. Terrified, the two run off into the streets of Markham...

After a simple restaurant heist goes terribly wrong, two fleeing new immigrants are stuck in an uber with an unsuspecting carpooler, resulting in a sinister predicament much larger than just their language barriers.
